This call was telling me I could lower my credit card interest rates and take advantage of teh economic stimulus bill. This is a scam.

No one will talk when I answer the phone and I will wait a few minutes and it will disconnect

they keep calling me asking for an oriental sounding name... and they won't stop calling. They hang up if I try to get information from them

This is a scam. It is part of the ring of "Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans". I have contacted my local FBI office as well as the NY FBI office and they have said they are investigating the scam. I have also made a report with the local police department.

Called me at the same time (3:00), every day Monday-Friday for a week until I answered the phone on Friday. Then they hung up. This is kind if annoying.

Looking for a relative saying that they would arrest the relative unless he called them back. Gave an American name of Thomas Wright from Morgan Associates even though he spoke with an Indian/Pakistani accent so thick I could hardly understand him. It was obvious he was reading from a script.

said that i had a grant for 7000 and that i would receive it aftere i payy 199 via western union. I went to western union paid it and tha total was 209. She assured me that i would be getting 7199 in total in 45. 45 Minutes passed and i never received a call. I called her back and she that the lines were so bissy because there are about 1500 people who have been selected and is all doing this transaction at the same time. She told me give the computer techs 24 hrs and it will be there and told me not to worry. 24 hrs passed and no one called nor is answering, i have no money and i just wasted 209 dollars on nothing. I really did need that grant for school. I know next time

As long as you make a minimum payment, they can't touch you. Put them on your DO NOT CALL list .....
